Our story: Building a tiny village

Parenthood brought more than sleepless nights—it brought an unexpected reality of caregiving on multiple fronts. As I cared for my newborn, I also supported my father’s recovery from a head injury while my partner’s family stepped up to help aging grandparents. These overlapping responsibilities made one thing clear: caregiving often falls on just a few, leaving families overwhelmed and unsupported.
As a new mom, I turned to technology to make life more manageable. Baby tracking apps became a lifeline, helping me anticipate my son’s needs and regain a sense of control. But when daycare began, language barriers and vague updates left me disconnected during a time already filled with postpartum challenges and the pressures of returning to work.
Amid it all, my own well-being took a backseat. Birth complications, postpartum anxiety, and job instability compounded the struggle. Moments of support from therapists and caregivers were invaluable, but they underscored how easily these critical needs could be missed without the right tools.
It became clear: it takes a village—not just to raise a child, but to support every phase of life. Yet finding that village often feels impossible in today’s world.
That’s why I created Tiny Village. It’s more than an app; it’s a digital ecosystem designed to simplify caregiving. Whether you’re managing a baby’s schedule, coordinating elder care, or keeping pets healthy, Tiny Village provides the tools to track milestones, set reminders, and connect with caregivers. Our goal is simple: to help families focus on what matters most—building happy, healthy lives together.
